Area of Study 2- Choreography, performance and dance making analysis
In this outcome you are going to choreograph, rehearse and perform a solo piece. As you go, you will also analyse the process and practice used to create it.
Your SAC will be performed LIVE in the classroom during Week 2, Term 2. The dance needs to go for 2.5-5 minutes (this is the specific time allowance we have been given by VCAA) This is not the only time you will perform this solo however. This dance will be the Technique Solo you will use in your PERFORMANCE EXAMINATION IN OCTOBER.
The second part of this Outcome is to complete a dance-making analysis. This is something we will complete as we go through the process of designing our dance. We will use the form of a Journal to present this. It will be due in Week 3, Term 2.
